The Tucanos. Tucanos 5000, however the name stands for rock music that doesn’t draw boundaries, ventures into other genres, doesn’t take itself too seriously, has been constantly changing since 2012 and has created its very own sound. Psychedelic – Stoner – Retro – Space: call it what you like. A combination of headbanging and flying away – very soulful and powerful. Light and color. 100 percent art with a lot of love for real music. Handmade, of course.

From an initial six Tucano’s, today in an energetic head line-up with Marc Remy (bass, vox), Valentin Banning (guitar, Ufo synth) and Jochen Dörle (drums, vox), the musicians create a versatile world of sound that challenges, surprises and creates tension with unexpected turns. The four studio albums show a musical development in which the band remains true to itself and does not subscribe to any musical conventions.
